In Joonas’s own business, Leiko found travel receipts in email and used previous invoices to suggest the client they belonged to.
Joonas approved the allocation. When he asked for that client’s monthly invoice, Leiko included the expenses to bill back.
The useful part was the connection: from a receipt in one place to the work it belonged to somewhere else.

05 Who’s building Leiko
Leiko started with Joonas’s own frustration with business admin. He and Martin are building the product they use themselves.
They have worked together since 2021, including at FREE.fi, serving people who work for themselves. Now they’re bringing that experience to a different way of running a business.
